1. Are you currently operating at 100% capacity? If not, what % are you? What's keeping you there?

Like Joyce stated I am not a spring chicken any more!  However, my plate is always 

full!!!  so yes I run constantly at 100%

What's keeping me there? 

What keeps me there between taking care of mom, Gator  our place (chores)

The fur babies, cleaning moms house, Dr's Appt's, Senegence meetings

2.  Have you done your taxes? Planned/booked a summer holiday? Thought about or started your 'spring cleaning'? Besides what's listed here, tell us one task that needs doing before spring rolls around.

I have not prepared my taxes, but it will be done this week

A Summer holiday, yes we are planning on going to Corpus Christi TX

SPRING CLEANING: actually yes I have started moving the plastic from the windows

rearranging plants that sit in the window sill, getting ready to open the windows,

cleaned out the cowebs,   1 thing that needs done before spring rolls around? 

DUSTING seems this is always the last thing that gets done


3. What's a favorite food from your part of the country?

Like Joyce stated again  I absolutely love good southern style sweet-tea but 

not sure that sweet-tea classifies as food ?  my favorite food is Fried Chicken 

and home-made potato salad (mustard)
4. This isn't a leap year, but let's run with it anyway...look before you leap, a leap of faith, grow by leaps and bounds, leap to conclusions, leap at the opportunity...which phrase might best be applied to your life currently (or recently)? Explain.

as I had recently came out of a VERY VERY ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP and was not 

sure I could trust another man

5. As the month draws to a close list five fun and/or fabulous things (large or small) you noticed or experienced in February.

1.   Going to karaoke

2.  Getting vehicle insurance renewed

3.  Getting new Health Insurance

4.  Willie (goat) is finally getting better and acting like a goat again since his surgery in           DEC

5.   The Daffodils, surprise lilies and the Iris's are coming up and spring is in the air

Heaven gained a beautiful angel this morning, Irene you were such a 

blessing to all you came into contact with.  You almost made it to your

96th bday.  You are rejoicing at the right hand of Jesus and in pain

no more!  RIP BEAUTIFUL!!

1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someone’s eyes when you are telling 
someone how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when they are telling you how they feel.
HMMM, I love looking into peoples eyes when I am talking, 
but also love the feeling when they look at me in the eyes, this one is kind of mutual


2.  Think of the last time you were REALLY angry.  WHY were you angry?  Do you still feel the same way?
I got angry Friday, having very BAD PTSD doesn't take a lot to make me angry. 
 It was over petty stuff and no I am mad then it is over

3.  You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane.  You have enough time to make one phone call. Who do you call?  What do you tell them?
oh boy, If Gator wasn't with me it would be him,*I would put him and mom on 3-way
and tell them how much I loved them and not to cry for me when I am gone but think
of all the happy times we had

4.  You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live.  Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?
I would tell everybody yes and make any amends to anybody I have hurt.  I would be
thankful for the time I have left, and pray everyday no I wouldn't be afraid it is part
of the circle of life


5.  You can have one of the following two things.  Which do you choose?  Why?  Love and Trust.
You can't have love without trust, this is a tough one  Trust is very important so guessing
I would have to go with trust.

6.  You are walking down the street on your way to work.  There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street.  Your boss has told you that if you are late just one more time you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dog’s life?  Why? Why not?
yes, because this is somebody's pet.  I would explain this situation to my boss, and 
if he/she got angry and fired me, then there is a better job for me anyway THEIR LOSS

7.  Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?
again trust is the biggest problem in relationships.  BUT, I have been hurt by the 
one I was married to for 22 yrs  then there was a very BIG TRUST ISSUE

8.  Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship.  He/she is falling in love with you.  What do you (or did you) say?
This actually happened with Gator and I.  I actually knew the feelings he had as I had the
same feelings.    I just let it go with the flow

9.  Think of the last person you know who died.  You have the chance to give them 1 hour more of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours.  Do you do it?  Why? Or Why not?
YES in a heartbeat! because the last person I know who died was my dad I would spend
every last minute with my dad.  He would fix all the issues going on since he passed

10.  Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?
YES!!! I am that kind of friend, my longest friendship is 46 yrs this august, we still hang out
weekly.  (I AM A FOREVER FRIEND, trustworthy, funloving caring)

11.  Does love = sex?
NO!! people can say they love you just for sex. 

12.  Your boss tells your co-worker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee.  You have been there much longer.  Your co-worker has a family to support and no other means of income.  Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company?  Why or Why not.
Absolutely, I can always find another job, I have known way too many people in this 
very situation working in management this was always the part of my job that I HATED

13.  When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say?  What did you have to tell the person?
it was Gator, telling him how I feared for my life *having came out of a very abusive
relationship*  and that it was going to be difficult for me to trust him for the time being
but everything worked its way out and I trust him with every ounce of my being.

14.  What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite/same sex – you love them or that you do not love them back.
telling my ex-husband that I no longer loved him, but it actually wasn't hard to do
this was a good bye and closing this books chapter

Thankful Thursday

Sorry I am running late on my blog again, it has been crazy here at Gators Acres
Monday we started out with a little bit of rain, rain Tuesday Wed our rain had turned
to freezing rain.  Thursday had to take mom to town, barely getting back home 
before it started snowing and freezing rain.  Thankfully we didn't loose power

So here we are on Thankful Thursday love today, but we always have something to 
be Thankful for.

Today I am thankful for my  Salvation,  my Lord and Savior
much needed rain * but now it is time to stop, we are now flooding* went from severe
drought to flooding.
my brother came through his hip replacement surgery Aok
legal things getting finalized
getting my health and car insurance taken care of

Today I am praying strength, courage, patience over each of you.  
lost souls 
our country
our president
strangers we meet on the street

hope everybody has a super great week ahead of you

A. GAIL, love my middle name

A. pay off house get if fixed back up, new truck, new household items

A. HMMM, this one is hard because I love all kind of food. grilled beets

A. blue walls, with coral rugs, shower curtain, accessories

A. Europe esp Germany/Ireland to find my heritage and yes Scotland I would love seeing those beautiful castles

A.  liver & onions not my favorite thing to eat either

A.  hominy

11. What are three things on your bucket list?

A. seeing the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Colorado

A. lol too many the last time I counted there was 27 I do alot of crafts

13. Today is my birthday.  What virtual gift are you going to give me?

A.  an e-card, and some beautiful roses

A. butterscotch not much of a sweet eater

A.   sometime after noon,  I am not much of a morning person

A. read and relax

A. I play the piano, clarinet, oboe, AND learning how to play the mandolin

Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday YET I know it is Friday running late 
Today I am thankful for
happy Valentines day spent with gator and friends
warm weather *look out weekend*
spending the day with my mom Monday and Wed
some doors are finally closing *thank you Jesus*
that we live in the greatest nation of all
got my time back with Soldiers Angels *my info got deleted
with new data base* I had been apart of this organization since
2007 to be lost and start over 
no ticket issued when we got stopped in road block
salvatoin

my thankfuls are in no particular order we always have something to be thankful for

a preacher told me yesterday>>"GOD IS STILL LETTING YOU KNOW HE IS IN CONTROL" yes he really is everyday he shows me

prayer request for today:
everybody that is sick *this flu is nasty this year*

friends needing prayers *God knows*
doors that are closing  wish they would hurry up and close permanently
financial needs
broken relationships
that my Senegence BUSINESS gets off the ground and running
SSD goes through
