In Honor of 3 the veterans in my family

Happy Memorial Day its time we get back to the "true meaning" of this day it isn't about the parties, boating etc.

I have family members that are veterans from the very first war (not WW1) the very first war.  I think the French Revaluation (sorry my memory isn't the best)   

These 3 are the only ones I could get yesterday (I drove 3 hrs each way to get these)

This top one is the entrance caught the flags all flying

Gators headstone,  I put the pennies there (it shows somebody visited)   His headstone   says Gary Alexander, EORC (His rank) Persian Gulf  (where he served) dob dod and the bottom says,  "gator husband of  Regina <that's me   Funny the middle penny is a 67 same as me I didn't plan that  I just grabbed some pennies and put them on it

Lots of emotions going on and Wordless Wednesday

 Happy Wednesday my bloggie friends.

First of all last night I killed a 2ft cottonmouth *snake* in my house, freaked me out so bad I started crying my eyes out.       Because where there is 1 there is 2.  I am ok just freaked me out.   I need out of this rat hole so bad please keep praying.   

Somebody I go to church with is coming to mow my lawn this evening so hopefully that will cut down on the snakes.     

Today, I memorialized Gator's Facebook page do you know how hard this was to do?  I just felt it was time!

 this is my Paternal Grandparents I never met my grandmother she passed almost a year before I was born and grandpa I was only 8 I just barely remember him, but do know he taught me how to play a mean game of checkers.

I am back

 Thank you all for the comments, sorry for the delay.   I got so overwhelmed after Gator's passing with all the phone calls, paperwork, etc. that I couldn't hardly function.  

I am going to start back Sunday with my daily bw photos (current day) there is no way I can get caught back up after almost 2 months.    

Mom's health isn't the best, she is needing more care than what I can do,  she is in stage 3 kidney failure, and can NOT be left alone for any period of time as she can't cook for herself, clean up if she has an accident (bathroom) nor can she shower by herself  I would appreciate any prayers, as this effects my move.    Also please pray for me as SS is giving me the run around although I have been deemed disabled thru SS JUDGE in 2019.  

My COPD has advanced SS is telling me I am going to have to restart the process of being disabled as circumstances can change and people can get better, however they must not know of heart issues, I am keeping the faith that I am healed by his stripes.  I have many health issues please keep me in your prayers through this new chapter of life.

Tomorrow (Sat 5-22 is my birthday the big 54) this will be the first time in 32 yrs that I have not had a spouse with me,  and the first time of not being able to be with mom

Welcome to Tuesday 4.. late as usual but the home situation has been very busy                                         and  iffy lately,  so I am sorry it is late going up today.

 Let's talk about your job/former job

1. What kinds of jobs have you had in life? Enjoy or not?                                                      Retail my last job yes I enjoyed was the manager at the liquor store

2.What duties did you perform on your job.. give us a job description                                           if you please. Manager, ordering, helping  c customers, made phone calls,                                    kept employees on their assigned tasks

3. What training is required to do your type of job (and even a checker in a                          supermarket needs certain skills such as working well with people                                                and being a bit technical.)  people oriented, counting inventory, ordering                                    running the register

4.Is there a dream job you'd like to have or would have loved to have?                                          Tell us about it, won't you? I always wanted to be a nurse that plan didn't                                     work out.   However I have been a caregiver since 2014 in reality that was                                 the best nurse I could be and wouldn't trade that time with loved ones                                         for nothing

 This year was very tough on me as my husband died 2 days before the challenge began, as I do mine daily it was a very rough start.   Thank you to everybody who stopped by, I apologize for not getting to you.  Things just now have settled down
