Day 9

On my day 8 post the video was too large to upload, however, it would not
let me delete :( sigh.

Gators music can be found reverbnation.com/garyalexander
There are no youtube videos still trying to figure the @ stuff as his songs are all original

Day 9 just a little snippet of a play along

I am thankful that Gator didn't give up on doing
what he loves to do *besides grilling* this is
his 2nd passion, I am his first :)
The smiles says it all, this was last friday
out with Karaoke friends

Day 9 I am thankful that we got to see this yesterday

A giant 13 barge and ship approaching
Lock n Dam 18  Inola OK
there is 18 locks between Rosedale, MS
and Inola OK

This is the most inland lock, as Port of
Catoosa, is the most inland PORT

Waiting patiently for her arrival in the lock

and were in, this process took about an hour
as it had to break some of the barges
away in order to fit.

Wow this ship was way bigger than
we first thought
Yes, it is considered a ship as it has
its own boat  They are actually
called tugboats.
This one has 3 large engines

Hope everybody has a great rest of your week

  1. Looks like you two are keeping busy. I'm a bit jealous that your weather looks so warm and sunny. Actually I cannot complain as we've had bonus days of sun when they forecasted rain. God is good. xx
