F IS for Friday

A to Z april 2018 challenge

F IS FOR FRIDAY

We all love Friday why?
because for many of us
it is our last work day
for the week,
it begins the weekend
and what other day
can we officially *FRY*?

today we got to go to
Karaoke we always have
such a blast rather we sing
one time or 10 times

tonight was no exception
we had a whopping 24
singers out the weather
was cold and rainy
 we sang 2 times
but had a blast

Friday is also mom's
therapy days those
people think mom and I
are bobbsie twins hehe

HOPE EVERYBODY HAS
A SAFE AND HAPPY
weekend
If your in the area where
winter has decided to return
be safe  its 28 feels like 19
sleeting and snowing

April 6 some who fascinates you and why

Day 6 of the April challenge

some one who fascinates me and why
my dad always fascinated me from a
very early age (mom said I was in his
hip pocket at a very young age)
he could build, fix, repair anything
and I do mean anything!

he was an a/c refrigeration
man for many years (this was
his side job) he worked
for Western Union as a
telegraph technician
*he kept them running,
working*

later in life, he became
known as the mower man
he could listen to a mower
and tell exactly what was going on
with it.

my daddy passed away in 2015 things
haven't been the same since.
RIP daddy

E is for ECHO

E is for E-E-E-C-C-C-H-H-H-OOOOO
Definition of ECHO

a sound or series of sounds caused by the
reflection of sound waves from a surface back to the listener.

Have you ever wondered how cool ECHO'S are?
I would love to stand on the tallest
mountain in the world and SHOUT just so the
sound would bounce back up to me.

I have played with echos in caves it is so cool
however, I absolutely hate when my
so called smart phone echos and hearing
every word you say that is so annoying

Gator and I have talked about getting married
some place with an echo  how cool would that be?
that we could say our vows and then here them
repeated to us?

I would have no problems being a beach
bum.  I have lived in tropical
places (CORPUS CHRISTI TX)

I loved being able to stand in the
water on Christmas day with
shorts and a tank top on running
barefoot along the shores.

I had a year round tan, and was actually
very healthy.

who's ready to go with me?

A to Z CHALLENGE D is for Direction

Definition of direction

 assistance in pointing

 out the proper route —

usually used in plural

 asked for directions

 to the beach

4 : the line or course on

 which something is

moving or is aimed

to move or along which

 something is pointing

 or facing came from the

 opposite direction walking

 in the same direction

via Websters dictionary

We have all been there
 at one point or another
 needing directions yes
everybody has had to ask
our new technology GPS
even they give us the wrong
directions at some point.

We still use an old fashioned
map that way we can blame no
body but our self if we get lost

I left Tulsa OK driving to
Anaheim CA with my trusty
map made only one wrong turn
I got direction-ally challenged
and turned the wrong way
on I-40 after about 3 miles
I found a turn around and
was heading back the right way.

BUT once in CA I had to ask
the locals for directions all the
time, as my GPS lied to me all
the time!   SHE BECAME MY
WORST ENEMY

Don't be afraid to ask directions

My fiance is an ex truck driver
and can take us any place
we want to go he relies on his
handy dandy randy nally
AKA road atlas.  He has
never use gps or dispatch
directions.

MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL
KNOW HOW TO READ A MAP

Have you ever known a combat veteran?
they are some of the bravest men/women I have
ever met in my life.
My fiance is a combat vet from desert storm
the struggle is very real. Every day the
flashbacks are horrible.

I always tell him to think of happy thoughts
not the bad ones to get him through the
flashbacks.  They have all seen and done
more than most of us can even phantom

The next time you see a veteran it wont hurt
go to him/her and thank them for their
service, buy their lunch, and look at the
eyes light up because of your appreciation.

never assume that this veteran isn't suffering
depression, ptsd, flashbacks you name it
he/she is probably dealing with one of these
very real problems.

please thank a veteran!!!
freedom isn't free and never
will be
