Happy Palm Sunday

Good morning everyone! Today we celebrate Palm Sunday, the day Jesus rode into
Jerusalem on a donkey, symbolizing His arrival as a King of peace rather than a
war king riding in on a horse. The people welcomed Him into the city by laying palms
at his feet. The prophets claimed the Messiah would arrive as a humble king upon a donkey,
and the people shouted “Hosanna!” The word Hosanna means save, rescue, savior.
Today marks the first day of Holy Week. On Palm Sunday Jesus was welcomed among the
people as a savior, and by Thursday they world arrest and crucify Him, completing the process of sacrificing the Lamb.
As you contemplate today and give thanks for all you have, be sure you acknowledge what this
particular day represents.
May your life be blessed by Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross. He shed His blood and His life so you,
and anyone who calls upon His name, can be saved.
Be blessed today in all ways.
