Holy Week

 I am sorry everyone for disappearing from blogging  I had to take a social media break.   Depression got ahold of me and wouldn't let me go.  I devoted more of my time to doing my bible journaling.   Reasoning for depression, the 28th of March was the 2nd anniversary of my husband passing.   I am not asking for a pitty party at all.   God got me thru it and out of the depression

HOSANNA to the KING in the highest  Thank you sweet Jesus for making this trip into Jerusalem and dying on the cross for our transgression and our sins.

How awesome it would have been to see Jesus riding the donkey colt into Jerusalem with the people putting the palm branches on HIS path.

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King

12 The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. 13 They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,

“Hosanna![a]

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”[b]

“Blessed is the king of Israel!”

14 Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written:

15 “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion;
    see, your king is coming,
    seated on a donkey’s colt.

A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,

“Hosanna[a] to the Son of David!”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”[b]

“Hosanna[c] in the highest heaven!”

10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”

  1. I am sorry for your feelings of depression, but they are certainly understood. Losing a beloved mate is very painful, and no one ever said that you should quit grieving in a certain amount of time. Grief is one of those things that comes back in waves to grip us, often when we least expect it. It's okay. It's all a part of the healing process. But I am glad that you are doing better now. God still has wonderful things for you to do and enjoy in this life. He is with you in the sad times, and He is with you in the glad times. May this Holy Week be a reminder that yes, "weeping lasts for the night, but joy comes in the morning". Because He lives, we can face tomorrow! Christ has conquered death and all our foes, and so we can walk confidently that He is with us and He will never ever leave us. Have a blessed and joyous Easter, Gina. Christ has opened paradise for all of us. Hallelujah!
