Happy Tuesday and bw 2

I truly hope everyone is staying safe from this brutal weather.   I think mother nature has became very bi-polar.   Monday it was 22 for high, we had Thunder, lighting, sleet, freezing rain, snow, all in a bout 10 mins.    The roads went from clear to 3" of sleet in less than 15 minutes.   Today the high is 23 and  has been repeating yesterday off and on most of the day.

The birds are loving all of the feeders, maybe tomorrow I can get some pics, as they are still skiddish.

Life on the farm is good, please pray for the horses, as they do not tolerate the extreme temperature change easily and with them being older.   Saturday it was 60.

something about snow in b/w is actually kind of cool

hope you each have a blessed rest of week,   Please pray that my propane lasts until tomorrow so that I can get out safely as today is not a safe day to drive.

Jan 23 BW number 1

Happy Monday!    Hope all is blessed.   I am starting my bw photos sorry I got behind but this will be my day one vs 23.
Today my oldest brother turns 65 yrs young, he is mentally challenged with the mentality of a low 9 yr old.   I called him this morning to tell him Happy Birthday he laughed and said I sounded just like mom, made me feel good that he thought of mom this am as well.  She was 19 when he was born, her birthday would have been the 28th of this month.

We have some crazy (bi-polar) weather coming they are saying up to 6" of wet snow oh boy!

I would love to know how old these ole oak trees are, and hear their stories.

Here is a link from the meteor that caused such a boom early Friday morning  ok meteor boom

Monday, January 23Philippians 4:1313 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

This is one of my all time favorite verses.   (Thank you Lord for giving me strength to conquer the things I thought I couldn't)

Happy Saturday

 Saturday, January 21

Proverbs 18:1010 The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

I truly hope each and every one of you are safe (from the weather in your area)  We have had some CRAZY weather this week.   Mon- Tues was in 70's Wed 60's Thursday, all heck broke lose and it hit 38 then Friday was in the 50's no wonder everybody is sick. Today 50 and temps dropping with rain turning to snow  So far, Praise the Lord I have not had even a sniffle!
If you pray, good vibes, positive thoughts please keep my Great nephew Justin in your prayers he is 12 yrs old was hospitalized Monday with double pneumonia and a fungi viral infection.  After all the test, thank GOD he does not have Leukemia however his #'s are all messed up so they are going to start treatment to make sure this doesn't go to Leukemia.   Wednesday they had started on more steroids which yesterday weren't working, the Dr's told my Niece (The boys mom) that had he not been in the hospital he would have been in ICU and on a vent    Please keep this precious baby in your prayers, he will not be able to go back to school until they get his immune system properly taken care of.  Thinking of babies one of the twins got pink eye while at day care, so their dad had to miss 2 days of work.  Now on to work, my niece hasn't been on her "new" job long enough to get leave of absence so they "let her go" and told her she could reapply when she can.

My friend in Springfield MO is still on a vent but there is improvement daily she has been in ICU since Tuesday after Christmas.

On to life on the farm,  Friday morning at 338 I was rudely awakened by a huge boom sounded like an explosion.   Josh and I went to get propane and horse feed and found some news it was however a meteor that exploded in the county we live in, had it not have exploded maybe we could have found some of the rocks, that would have been super cool.
Thinking of life on the farm,  all the animals are doing well, think they are all ready for spring I know I sure am.

I hate that I got behind on the BW photos that I have done for several years, I am going to start Today and try to keep up, it has been cold here since Thanksgiving minus a few days is why I haven't taken any photos.

I hope everybody has a great weekend and a blessed week ahead

God is Good and Thankful Thursday

I just found my beautiful necklace that was lost in September   I prayed to God again this afternoon to please let me know a place where I haven't looked and went out side to enjoy the day.   Overwhelming feeling came over to look in the under storage (outside)  and I open the storage and moved some stuff out and I saw something beautiful shining and moved it and there it was my necklace.   My dad gave this to my mom in 1979 for their 25th wedding anniversary.

Thankful Thursday

Festive Friendly Fill-Ins

Joining in on the Fill ins today if you want to  join Festive Friendly Fill-Ins

Hello, friends! I'm so sorry we're so late to post yet again. The good news is that we're late because in a desperate attempt to get my decrepit laptop working better, I managed to get it to do a ton of forgotten updates yesterday evening. It took it the entire night and only just finished a bit ago, which is why we're so late, but since doing these updates, the laptop is still decrepit but much less so. Before it croaks again, right after this we'll be topping off our entire Christmas weekend posts and the beginning of our Twelve Days of Christmas posts so that they're good and ready to go.

Now, moving on, we're ready for a festive Friendly Fill-Ins challenge,                                                                                                and we hope you are as well. We'd love for you to join us!                                                                                                                My amazing co-host Ellen of 15andmeowing came up with the                                                                                                            first two fill-in statements, and I came up with the second two.
