Terrific Tuesday

Today's blog is going to be a little different.  I am starting my Terrific Tuesday blog.  I hope that all of you have a Terrific Tuesday.  

First of all I think this time of year we all have many blessings to be thankful for,  our families, our health (I am very thankful for my health), our Veterans.    I love the fall time with all the colors, waking up to frost on the pumpkin, watching the sun come up across the horizon is such a blessing also.  Our beautiful sunrises & sunsets in the fall.  Oklahoma has some of the prettiest in the country this time of year.

I want to share a little about me today.  I am a fun loving person who enjoys life to the fullest.  I have found my soul-mate he is the most wonderful person in the world. Gator, treats me like a princess ;-) I hope that all of you have that special person in your life.   I am very close to my parents for that I am very thankful.  I have 2 brothers one is Mentally Challenged, hes 53 but only like a 9 yr old.  The other one is 51 is married to a wonderful lady (I love my sis n law) they have 3 kids between them (2 nieces & 1 nephew ) I now have a great nephew he is so adorable.  I had 2 nephews in July of 08 the Good Lord felt he needed Brandon in Heaven more than we did here on Earth.  God bless you Brandon.  I know that you are very happy being with grandma Mary.    My grandparents are not living any longer they have been gone many years...but Grandma Mary my sis n laws grandmother adopted us all as her grandkids she told us all the time she had so many grandkids, that she done lost count.   We lost grandma Mary in Jan this year.  She is happy now no more pain and hurting.

I live on 5 beautiful acres in the country in a house that my dad built for me in 1982. It is so serene here, I see deer, geese, wild turkeys in my yard just about every day.

My Very First Blog Award

Wow what a very nice surprise to find the stylish award from Missy :) thank you hun.
I have only been blogging for a couple of weeks and love it.  I appreciate the comments wow my veterans blog had 9 comments that is the first for me ;)

I HAVE BEEN AWARDED THE STYLISH BLOGGER AWARD!!!!  Thank you Missy Schranz for the award  I am so honored to receive the award in such a short amount of time to be blogging.

Now comes the fun part trying to decide who to give the award back too

Here are the 7 things about myself.

1) I love Gator, he is the love of my life I thank God for him everyday

2)  I love writing poetry, I have written since my pre-teen years, I have a 3 subject spiral full working on a 5 subject that is over half full.  This is the way I put my feelings on paper.  I also love  nature (this is how I relax after a stressful or busy day)

3)  I love animals of all kinds  (except spiders and snakes) I know somebody needs to love them too.  I have 2 dogs (pepper & scout) 1 kitty (caz) a turtle and 2 fish....there is also several families of deer who I see on the property here every day.

4) My favorite food is Mexican especially Tamales (homemade ones are far better)I don't eat too many sweets, and no chocolate.  I eat nuts and trail mix if I want to snack.

5) My favorite music is country, I do however like the 80's music.  Air supply, alabama, (even the big hair bands) I like gospel   mostly anything but RAP. Sorry I don't understand it.

6) I have found a new hobby of blogging that I am really enjoying doing.  :) 

7) I love spring & fall   spring because of all the beautiful smells and fall because of the most beautiful colors and the gorgeous sunsets we have here in OK in the fall.
