Jesus is the vine part 4

 This is a chapter of hope, the kind of hope that shows us the relentless love of God.   God's promise to Israel:  Rebuild, replant, dance and enjoy the fruits of the vineyard.  God gives us the same promises:     Everlasting love, and faithfulness; these are probably the most underserving things from the LORD.       He shows grace to all of us.     The next time your out driving around looking at the greenery from the crops planted, vineyards, orchards ect, remember God is at work in ways that we may not see right now.   If we believe His word and that we can trust he is faithful, loving, full of grace, kindness.   In His kindness He does not leave us on our own to face the hard times alone.                                                       PROMISE:   His faithful presence, relentless love, assurance of knowing that one day he will wipe our tears dry.    God draws us to himself and lovingly rebuilds our lives

OUR Tears   Please listen to the enclosed song.

Jeremiah 31:3-5 NASB

3The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying,
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.
4Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
Again you will take up your tambourines,
And go forth to the dances of the merrymakers.
5Again you will plant vineyards
On the hills of Samaria;
The planters will plant
And will enjoy them.

Thank you Father for your everlasting, faithfulness, and picking me up when I stumble, but most of all thank you for wiping away my tears over the last few years with the death of my beloved husband Gary and my first and best friend mama.   I know they both ran to you with arms wide opened and smiles on their faces.

Thankful Thursday

Jesus is the Vine

     I have been enjoying Bible Journaling for the past year.   I will start posting some of my journaling to here so that you all can have some fun as well.  This is a 4 week series, however only the first three weeks are all that is done.
Week 1
   John15:1  “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

Gardener:  "a nurturer of all life, protector, and planter, a designer, keeper, and pruner.  Concerned with life's flourishing's.  God is our gardener.

Jesus is the vine, we are the branches; grow and connect to him <foundational truth> < Our closeness to Jesus is important for us to keep this foundation.>

Week 2

John 15:9  “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

He has already pulled us to him, it is up to us to Keep God's love

Week 3                                                                         John 15:8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.                We bring glory to God by bearing fruit as disciples of Jesus.                     God's glory, Bearing of fruit, disciples of Jesus.  We CAN NOT bear fruit if we do not stay connected to the vine.
There is a similiar connection with these 3 things      Abiding to God...........God's glory                            Bearing fruit for him....Bearing fruit                        Maturing as disciples....disciples of Jesus

Are you connected to the vine?  Do you bear fruit? Are you a disciple?   I want my life to be where every person I meet knows that my love of Christ is shining thru me and I want to be an example to others.

I hope each of you have a blessed week ahead.

Wordless Wednesday 42623

I have always loved this park, very fond memories of going here as a child.  The winter of 2007 killed so many of the azaleas so sad as the whole park used to be completely covered.   These plants are still small but still beautiful, and not even at peak of blooming.

Do you enjoy visiting things from your childhood?  My next place I would love to visit it my grandparents old homestead in east TX.  When my grandfather passed in 1995 the land was in the same name over 100 yrs, the family decided to sell it off :(  the old house fell in and looks very different now.  The people told us any time we wanted to come and go down memory lane we were welcome same with the people who bought my parents home.

Today's bible verse

Wednesday, April 26Acts 5:2020 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”

Wordless Wednesday

Wednesday, April 19James 5:1616 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Hi all, I hope your doing well with spring time my favorite time of the year as it reminds me how everything is renewed...Kind of like my faith, gets a daily renewal.   Let me tell you sisters, if you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior now is the time to get to know him!   The end times are here and you do not want to be left and not knowing the Almighty King!

I have recovered from my depression thank you for the ones who prayed for me.    Mental health is very real, next time you talk to your friend, sister, brother (whom ever) and they mention depression, anxiety, fear, remember to tell them they are not alone and there is a lot of help out there today.  This is not a made up illness it is very real.   I suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD, the struggle is real on a daily basis, but knowing that God can and will get me thru the day and that my illness is of Satan not  our GOD.  He keeps me in the palm of His hand, and His arms wrapped around me daily, reminding me that I am a child of GOD I have no need to be afraid, scared, ect.

I hope each of you have a blessed day and that you accept each blessing as they are given to you

Holy Week

 I am sorry everyone for disappearing from blogging  I had to take a social media break.   Depression got ahold of me and wouldn't let me go.  I devoted more of my time to doing my bible journaling.   Reasoning for depression, the 28th of March was the 2nd anniversary of my husband passing.   I am not asking for a pitty party at all.   God got me thru it and out of the depression

HOSANNA to the KING in the highest  Thank you sweet Jesus for making this trip into Jerusalem and dying on the cross for our transgression and our sins.

How awesome it would have been to see Jesus riding the donkey colt into Jerusalem with the people putting the palm branches on HIS path.

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King

12 The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. 13 They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,

“Hosanna![a]

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”[b]

“Blessed is the king of Israel!”

14 Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written:

15 “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion;
    see, your king is coming,
    seated on a donkey’s colt.

A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,

“Hosanna[a] to the Son of David!”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”[b]

“Hosanna[c] in the highest heaven!”

10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”

11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
