The Prettiest Leaf one of my many poems

I wrote this lil poem several years back, posted it on my blog as I changed names, domains etc

With fall coming up I found it again and thought I would share





THE PRETTIEST LEAF
If I were a leaf floating from the trees, I would be the prettiest 
leaf ever seen.
  I may be orange,  red, yellow, brown or green but no doubt 
I would be the prettiest leaf seen.  I may be tattered or whole
intact if I am tattered and torn I will still be there for you to adorn. 
 Will you wonder why I'm tattered or will you know it came 
from falling from the sky so high?  Or will you just guess its from 
all the walking feet?   I may be big small or in between, but will 
always be the prettiest leaf you've ever seen.

I think I would be the mischievous one

to move things around, turn on the water, etc.  but on the other side it would 

be so fun reconnecting with all of my loved ones who have left this world

 
                                                           

                                                     

 2. I always clinch my fists when

I feel threatened or really mad.  after living

in a very bad relationship for 20+ years it was easy to keep them clinched

most of the time

3. My favorite scary story is Stephen King  IT

I love reading Stephen King novels.

                                                                           

                                                                         

 

4.  I will be so glad when I will officially be Mrs. Gator, we have waited

35 years for this day to be here.  REALLY it cant be here quick enough

she and her husband went down on the bike
1 month ago, then Tuesday she had a
severe seizure and stroke

 AND last but not least
MAMA GATOR better
watch out she is very protective
of her youngens

as we have very bad storms coming our way.

Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday
we all have so much to be thankful for each
and everyday.  

Today is no exception

Last week, Gator had colon surgery *which turns out
the tumor was lower than what they had thought*
which means they didn't actually have to take any of the 
colon.  
Gator, is CANCER FREE, he has beat cancer again
it has been a very long 10 months and the struggle has 
been very real.
January 23 2017 he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer
with little odds, he had a major radiation which
got rid of brain cancer, then thru chemo it had 
went into remission.  NOW 10 months later he 
is like I said CANCER FREE, this man is one of the 
strongest, toughest, men I have ever met.  
He is a fighter, and a trooper.

WE OWE THIS TO GOD ALMIGHTY as we believe
in the healing power of JESUS

Prayer request for this week 

Our friends who went down on the bike 1 month ago
she *frog* had a very bad Gran-Mal seizure on Tuesday
along with a pretty bad stroke.  The stroke was
from a blood clot in the broken leg

My lifelong preacher, his wife went to be with Jesus and 
her Heavenly Father on Monday her struggle from
Alzheimer's  is done and finished  RIP PAT

Many of you may know Denise *shortybear* 
She went home to dance with Jesus and sing
 with the angels late yesterday
evening.   Denise you were always such a positive person
no matter what was going on in your life RIP PRECIOUS
FRIEND  pray for her husband and family

please keep praying for sucess with my new cosmetics
business.

Its Monday

Hope everybody had a fantastic weekend.  My weekend was spent
recouping from being up at the hospital most of the week with Gator
he is doing very well for the surgery that he went thru

Gator, is now CANCER FREE!  we owe this to God almighty, all the prayers
thank you everybody who has prayed.  We may have to go thru a few more chemo
treatments to make sure that everything stays gone, that is very hard 
on him, please pray that the decision is made the right one

I started a photo a day challenge in 2010 and actually made it thru the whole 365 days

My Friday fotos are going to be a bit different as  I photographed my first wedding last night
was so nervous but think they turned out pretty well  (normally I do not do the date,
however the bride insisted it be on the pics)
