Coffee & Tea
Hello! Glad you are back for more of Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.. If you knew Toni you would know that coffee was one of her great pleasures in life. So friends, let's talk about those two popular drinks tea and coffee. Okay? Let's go....
1. What is/are your favorite coffee? (brand or flavor) If you are a tea lover, which tea is the best for you?
Lipton for me (iced preferably, but on occasion I do like hot tea). If I do drink coffee it is Folgers (Folgers in your cup)
2. How do you take your coffee or tea? Sugar, cream , flavoring?
Sugar, creamer for coffee. iced tea I like sweet tea with oranges in it, as it brings out the natural orange flavoring
3. Do you go out for coffee/tea with friends? Ever enjoy a real tea room or a tea party?
I would love to go out with coffee/tea with friends, seems everybody is too busy now days to get together unless its with the women from church. I have never been to a real tea room or party, however I think it would be fantastic to go and be able to wear the fancy dresses, and hats.
4. If you could design a coffee shop or even a coffee/tea station in your home, what would it be like?
I just use my coffee pot, I just recently bought a tea maker (it works great) however there is something about still making it on the stove. I am a plain jane type person so a few coffee cups nothing fancy would be just fine with me.
I am the same way making tea. I have a tea maker but prefer to make it on the stove. I haven't made sun tea in forever either. Yes, sweet tea is the best! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I like sun tea, but haven't made it in a very long time...Hope you have a great week as well
DeleteMaybe invite some ladies over for tea/coffee sometime, or suggest going out to someplace together for coffee/tea. It's a great way to fellowship. I always used to keep a tea kettle on the stove and I loved it, but as I got older I was letting them boil dry too often (and I don't like whistles), so hubby bought me the electric tea kettle, and I love it because it shuts itself off when the water is boiled. I don't have to worry about it boiling dry! I tend to be absent minded (distracted) too easily. I enjoyed your answers and am glad you joined in!
ReplyDeleteOne problem, I do not have but 2 or 3 friends, and seems everybody is too busy now days to get together. Understand about forgetting and letting the tea pot boil dry :(
DeleteI still make my tea with boiling water from a kettle on the stove and pour it over a Luzianne tea bag into my grandmothers old teapot.
ReplyDeleteoh how cool is that!
DeleteLipton is a very good tea. Oranges in your tea is something I haven't heard of before. I agree with the old fashioned way of making your tea on the stove.
ReplyDeleteCracker Barrell is the one who got me started on the oranges in the tea
DeleteI always loved the Folgers commercials.. the best part of waking up... I also use Lipton. Its always good hot or cold! Thanks for joining in!!
ReplyDeleteyes those commercials were great back then.
DeleteI enjoyed your answers. In the summer I like making iced tea or an iced coffee.
